- The ST mode automatically alternates between Spontaneous (S) and Timed (T) modes, adjusting to the patient’s breathing patterns.
- When the patient breathes on their own, it stays in S mode, providing support with each breath.
- If breathing stops, the device switches to T mode, maintaining assistance.
- When breathing resumes, it smoothly transitions back to S mode.
